A Bilateral Amputee Offers a Lesson on Resilience

Malvika Iyer became a bilateral amputee following a freak bomb blast in 2002. Her story since has become one of hope, strength, and understanding. Iyer is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, disability rights activist, TEDx speaker, and member of the UN IANYD’s Working Group on Youth and Gender Equality.
