Hi Kamaldeep, great to have you here, can you tell us about yourself?
I am Kamaldeep Thakur, CEO of Cerebrum Infotech, a leading software product development company. I have been associated with the company since its inception. In a decade, I have witnessed many IT trends, and I am always of the view that one should adapt to the changing technology to survive the competition. As a CEO, my responsibilities include interacting with shareholders, build the brand, and devise strategies for the betterment of the organization.
What motivated you to start your company?
I have always been interested in software development. Early on, I knew that I wanted to start a software product development company. At that time, there were not many software development companies that used cutting-edge technology and offered transparency to users. I wanted to bridge this gap; that’s how I started Cerebrum Infotech. I would like to add that the CEO of Seasia Infotech, Mr. R.P. Singh, had a major role to play in starting Cerebrum Infotech. I learned a lot of things while interacting with him, and he was the one that backed my idea of starting Cerebrum Infotech.
Can you taalk about Your Mission Statement?
Cerebrum Infotech holds its customers in high regard, customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to us, and for that, we strive hard.
Who are your biggest competitors and how do you differentiate yourself from them?
Any company, be it big or small, that’s in the same industry as us is our competitor. I believe healthy competition is necessary; it is beneficial for the company when there is competition, we want to surpass them. Also, competition is beneficial for end-users. I believe in learning from competitors and come up with unique products
What is the key problem you are trying to solve?
Staying competitive, creating growth, and providing quality products to users. While some awesome work has been done in the past by many companies, there is an issue of quality. At Cerebrum Infotech, my major goal is never to compromise on quality. Another thing that I work on is to create a work-life balance for my team. A happy team is more productive. Putting in more hours never equates to productivity. Instead, at Cerebrum Infotech, we work on improving efficiency by not hindering work-life balance.
What are your goals over the next 6 and 12 months?
My goal for the next 6-12 months is to build products using AI, BigData, IoT. We have some awesome ready-to-use solutions like CereKart, an online ordering and delivery system, Home services app, a consultation app, a fleet management system, an E-learning system, etc. These smart products use the latest technologies to provide measurable results to clients.
What is your vision for the company? If you’re going to bet your career on the company, it’ll be good to know where it’s headed.
Cerebrum Infotech is going to be a big name in software product development. The company is on the right path. We have some of the smartest minds on board, and our efforts are yielding positive results. Also, I believe in ethics, and that’s something that we are never going to sideline.
